Buphthalmum salicifolium (yellow oxeye daisy) a Summer flowering perennial which has eventually grown on me after constant reminders from Myra as to how so very like rays of sunshine the flowers are.

I ended the year with a yellow flowering plant as the subject and here I am with the first post of 2012, and what is it (Buphthalmum)¬†Well yes it is yellow and it is bright, and it has masses of daisy like flowers held on narrow stems around 60cm in height.
