A trip to Dobies Garden Centre today. Bursting at the seams with Begonia tubers, Dahlias, Gladiolas etc. Well it is not possible to visit these places without my wife coming up with a brilliant idea to spend money.
Got off lightly today though, for you could fill a bag of Gladiolas for 2.99. The resulting action would probably gain an entry in the Guinness book of records. We made our way to the check out bags bursting at the seams, assistant eyeing us as if to say I will remember you two.
Got home about two thirty stored the corms in a cool dry place meantime. The great idea is to pot them up and come September when there is less flowers in the garden we will place the pots in positions that will brighten things up. There will be so many, she will, like Dame Edna be tossing them around all over.
