Thank goodness, this has been the first day since February that we have been able to work outside in the garden without being freezing cold. Borders tidied up, removed the net from the pond. We also have a stone water feature at the opposite side of the garden which I always wrap with poly bubble, just in case hard frost causes damage. I removed the wrapping from this feature, and set it up with the pump, I will test it tomorrow, It never fails to surprise me when I find that the pump is still in working order after a hard winter. Also got Lavatera Mont Blanc sown, when the seedlings are large enough I will plant up three per pot, spaced just slightly apart. They will be kept in the greenhouse and hardened off late may, ready for planting out first week in June. Mont Blanc makes a great dot or feature plant for your border, purest of white flowers, plant reaches two and a half= three feet tall. Like most plants tends to get a little taller in our garden, here is a picture of them in our garden last summer.
