Dahlia American Sunset
I was searching for Dahlias that would grow in pots. I was not too keen in getting those bedding types, more ones that looked like the tall decorative Dahlias but grew to about 2/3 feet tall. Dahlia American Sunset was the perfect choice.
Its quite some time since I posted, my eyesight has deteriorated making the whole process a bit of a chore.
However with a bit of help I now have a larger screen and settings have been applied to help with the partially sighted.
What a difference, I now intend to post more regularly, but this will not be in the detailed manner which I previously did.
Instead, It will simply be a case of highlighting new plants in our garden or anything that catches my eye.
In spite of the advancing years and eyesight issues I can still get incredible pleasure in maintaining our garden.
This Orange Dahlia was best of all for the pots, looks great and reached a height of 24 inces which was ideal.
Dahlia Duet, below was the tallest of the three and grew to about about 36 inches.
Dahlia Cartouche, great colour and also reached 36 inches.

“Lovely update! It’s inspiring to see how you continue enjoying your garden despite challenges. The Dahlia American Sunset sounds beautiful in a pot!”
